Responsibilities:

Performs non-invasive tests to detect corrosion, cracks, weld defects, etc., using ultrasonic, magnetic particle, radiographic, or eddy current methods.

Certifications:

• ASNT Level I/II/III
• PCN
• ISO 9712.

Skills:

• Precision interpretation of signals
• Report writing.

Education:

• High school diploma or technical diploma (engineering or materials science preferred).

Certifications:

• ASNT Level I/II/III (or equivalent: PCN, ISO 9712)
• Specific methods: UT, RT, MT, PT, etc.
• Experience: 1–3 years in field NDT depending on certification level.
